SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Deal Processing Clerk receives each deal to ensure that all necessary documentation is included. The deal is then broken down and processed.

Requirements

High School diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral.
Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Computer/Data entry skills.
Microsoft Excel proficient.
Customer-related experience.

Responsibilities

Inputs deal information into the computer.
Prints state and insurance paperwork.
Ensures customer signs all required paperwork.
Reconciles and submits warranties and insurances to proper facility, bank, etc.
After deal is bought by a financial institution, the deal is returned for proper processing.
Process paperwork to be forwarded to Title Clerk.
Process paperwork to be forwarded to Billing.
Make copies of paperwork and distribute to the proper individual(s).
Prepare and process all bank papers to be sent overnight/mail.
Make follow-up calls to banks when necessary.
Obtain information required to complete funding process if necessary.
