Benefits include: Medical, Dental and Vision Life, AD&D & other supplemental insurance Short-and Long-term disability 401(k) / profit sharing Paid Time Off/Holidays Job Duties: The DDC Engineering Manager is responsible for overall management, planning, coordination and implementation of all Engineering activities on DDC projects according to the scope, specifications, schedule, CMS Controls’ processes and procedures. Manages, trains and provides guidance to all Engineers. Manages and supports the Engineering Team to drive quality and efficiency. Coordinates and works closely with DDC Operations Manager and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of projects. Sets goals and objectives for the team and manages performance accordingly Drives safety within the team as a point of emphasis. Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications preferred: 5+ years of DDC Project experience in a technical role. Management experience including experience managing direct reports of 3 or more employees Direct experience with the construction process of manpower scheduling Experience in the review of construction contracts Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products Must have a good working knowledge of the building construction trades Must possess excellent people and organizational skills Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time Ability to analyze project data to find opportunities for improvement Strong comprehension of plans and specifications for construction projects Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required Must be self-motivated and able to multitask Ability to work independently with limited supervision Specific knowledge of Distech, Siemens, Trend and other Tridium based systems is a plus The position requires the candidate to have the ability to lift up to 70lbs in assistance of loading, unloading and storing materials and equipment.
