Key responsibilities include processing outgoing and returned orders, preparing and packaging products to meet customer and safety standards, and coordinating shipments through carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Additional duties include maintaining departmental supplies, assisting team members with rush orders and general organization, and upholding all safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic computer and email skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform physical demands described below.
  • Consistent and dependable attendance.
  • Flexibility to support the team by covering early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Shipping daily orders within internal system
  • Return orders as needed through our internal system
  • Move products and incoming materials to proper location.
  • Determine proper packing requirements to ensure the safe handling of products and meeting customer specifications.
  • Package material according to established procedures.
  • Load trucks.
  • Coordinate Federal Express and UPS shipments.
  • Organize and maintain all supplies for the department, re-ordering as needed.
  • Assist fellow Distribution Center Associates with daily tasks, rush orders, and department organization as needed.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Other duties.
