This position involves performing a wide variety of job functions focused on maintaining inventory integrity and improving efficiencies within the distribution center. Key responsibilities include order adjustments, monitoring and resolving allocation issues, performing inventory transfers, and managing location labels. The role requires auditing outbound parcels and inbound license plates, reconciling damaged items, and executing relabel and changeover projects. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for slotting jobs, maintaining accurate dimensional data, ensuring safe weight on beams, and handling Factory Stock Adjustments, Lifts, Final Sweeps, and Recalls. Daily cycle counts of Freon items and monthly inventory of critical supplies are also part of the role, along with assisting in maintaining ship percentage and DC shrink goals. The position emphasizes keeping work areas clean, maintaining safety standards, and identifying unsafe practices. Experienced team members may also be designated as trainers, responsible for conducting and documenting training, and communicating job duties and procedural changes to new and existing team members.
