About The Position

Worldpac, a leading company in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a DC Machine Operator Associate to be a vital part of our warehouse and assist in but not limited to; Equipment operations, pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center. The DC Machine Operator Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. Requirements

  • High School/secondary school diploma or general education degree (GED)/homeschool equivalency
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying
  • Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Machine Operator experience (Certification and training provided!)
  • Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Equipment operations, electric pallet jack, Forklift, and order picker
  • Uses the computer / RF to enter records.
  • Uses voice picking system
  • Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.
  • Will be required to use a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit)
  • Consistent, reliable attendance
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Marks pallets with identifying store information.
