Role: It Takes A Village Family of Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Birth to 3 Teacher to join our early childhood centers; creating a safe and stimulating environment conducive to learning and exploration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our children and contribute to developing curricula and activities that support developmental milestones.

Requirements

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Gateways Levels 1-5 preferred
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • A compassionate individual who prioritizes the well-being and needs of young children.
  • A creative individual who possesses a deep understanding of early childhood development, including milestones, developmental stages, and individual differences among children.
  • A professional educator who is adept at designing and implementing activities and curricula that stimulate learning and exploration.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Early Childhood Education or a related certification is a plus.
  • Experience in an early childhood setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants and toddlers in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Conduct developmental assessments to identify individual needs and create tailored plans for each child's growth and development.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness, administering first aid when necessary, and monitoring for signs of illness or distress.
