About The Position
Emergency Childcare Services is a trusted daycare staffing agency that partners with childcare centers to provide reliable, qualified, and caring substitute teachers and assistants. We take pride in helping daycares maintain safe, nurturing environments for children even when regular staff are out. Position Overview We are seeking dependable and energetic Daycare Closers to assist partner childcare centers in the afternoons. The closer is responsible for supporting teachers during the last part of the day, helping with classroom cleanup, supervising children during pickup, and ensuring a smooth, safe end to each day. Schedule: Monday–Friday OR be able to work at least two days a week. 1:00PM-5:30/6:00PM Perfect for candidates looking for consistent part-time hours!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and genuine love for working with children
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during afternoon play and closing hours
- Assist with snacks, diapering, and end-of-day routines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Support teachers and center management as needed
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
