This position will support the services provided through Alpine ISD Child Development Center. The position will primarily be assisting the lead teacher and helping throughout the center as needed. Applicants will be expected to: Understand children’s social, emotional, and physical development Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are activity engaged and encouraged to succeed. Be efficient at supervising children and ensuring the safety and well being of children Ensure routines are carried out in prompt, hygienic, and consistent manner while operating classroom Comply with all state listening regulations Participate in staff meetings and training Display excellent skills in leadership, organization and communication with children and adults Maintain frequent communication with parents Resolve conflict, listen, and appropriately respond to concerns Maintain confidentiality of all student information Maintain and professional and public appearance Ability to work well and effectively with others Be effective in technology Display strong oral and written communication skills This position is security sensitive.
