Day Shift Plant Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery Adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality and production flow Communicate operational updates and issues to team members and supervisors Support overall site safety, housekeeping, and operational goals
Requirements
- Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy equipment and production machinery
- Commitment to working safely and following established procedures
- Capability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality
- Reliability, teamwork, and willingness to adapt to changing operational needs
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
