About The Position

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is looking for Porter to provide general labor support, including litter removal, property maintenance, and cleaning. This role involves traveling to multiple locations on a scheduled route and ensuring assigned areas remain clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions for assigned routes.
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status (pre-employment and random testing).
• Ability to safely operate a pickup truck and perform physical labor.
• Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided pickup truck to multiple stops along a scheduled route.
• Perform litter pickup along highways and commercial properties.
• Maintain and clean retail properties, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
• Use a leaf blower to clear sidewalks and other outdoor areas.
• Replace trash bags and inspect properties for maintenance issues.
• Complete assigned tasks within the designated time frame.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure equipment is used correctly.
