Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is looking for Porter to provide general labor support, including litter removal, property maintenance, and cleaning. This role involves traveling to multiple locations on a scheduled route and ensuring assigned areas remain clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to read maps and follow directions for assigned routes.
- Must pass and maintain drug-free status (pre-employment and random testing).
- Ability to safely operate a pickup truck and perform physical labor.
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided pickup truck to multiple stops along a scheduled route.
- Perform litter pickup along highways and commercial properties.
- Maintain and clean retail properties, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
- Use a leaf blower to clear sidewalks and other outdoor areas.
- Replace trash bags and inspect properties for maintenance issues.
- Complete assigned tasks within the designated time frame.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure equipment is used correctly.
