About The Position

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility. This role is a technical support lead role. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Day Electrician position.

Requirements

• Must have a good understanding of TCOS “Take Control of Safety” and what it means to you.
• Excellent safety and attendance record
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools
• Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in:
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls
• Power transformers and Power Distribution Equipment
• Protection Relays

Nice To Haves

• Strong electrical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
• Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
• Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance requirements
