The Day Camp Porter plays an essential behind-the-scenes role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming camp environment. Working under the supervision of the Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director, the Porter maintains sanitary conditions in bathrooms, bathhouses, lodges, and program areas while modeling responsibility and respect for shared spaces. This position directly contributes to camper and staff well-being by upholding health and safety standards in accordance with Girl Scouts of Connecticut (GSofCT) policies, State of Connecticut Public Health regulations, and American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
