If you’re ready to be the hero of summer, don’t wait—apply now and let’s make this summer unforgettable! 🏕️🔥🏊 Day Camp Dates by Center: Bellevue - Program Dates: TBD; Seasonal Hire Dates: TBD Clarksville - Program Dates: May 26-Aug 7 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 11-Aug 7 Donelson - Program Dates: May 26-July 31 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 4-July 31 North Rutherford - Program Dates: May 26-July 31 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: TBD Northwest - Program Dates: May 26-July 31 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 4-July 31 Robertson - Program Dates: May 22-July 31 (6:30am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 15th-Aug 7 Sumner - Program Dates: May 21-August 7 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: April 7-Aug 7 NOTE: This is a seasonal position running from mid-May through early August. The role requires consistent availability Monday–Friday. Shifts can be scheduled within the window of 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., but you will work no more than 8.5 hours per day, up to five days per week. Applicants must be able to commit to this schedule and availability for the full season.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Previous experience or coursework in childcare or recreation preferred
- Certifications: New Hire Orientation (before your first shift)
- CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire)
- Passion for working with kids in an outdoor setting
- Ability to lead and motivate both campers and fellow counselors
- Strong communication and quick thinking to keep everyone safe, happy, and engaged
