About The Position

To help organize and oversee the Day Camp counselors on a daily basis. To prepare an eight week curriculum and implement the activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Prior camp or childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Correspond with parents
Assist counselors
Supervise the children's safety
Implement all planned activities
Encourages harmony among children
Participates in all special days on calendar of events
Walks children to car at end of day
Assist with pool activities, cookouts, events, etc.
Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees
