Essential Job Functions: • Executes against activities and programs focused on maximizing return on investment for all direct marketing. • The ability to write queries to extract data from multiple databases and summarize data for meaningful data comparisons is critical to this position, with knowledge of the relational databases, including table and join structures, what the data means, and what the data can be used to measure. • Responsible for Adhoc Data Pulls • Executes effective marketing programs targeted to existing and new customers, including all customers and potential customers of Harrah’s Oklahoma. • Works with other database staff across the brand to establish short and long-term direct marketing initiatives. • Ensures the processes around data manipulation are efficient, accurate and meet the highest levels of data security. • Create offer matrices for use by various casino departments and print vendors. • Maintains current knowledge of database enhancements and products. • Monitors transaction activity related to database management. • Participates in development and administration of database systems that support the marketing efforts and coordinates the analysis of results driven by marketing efforts. • Keeps all database merges, purges, updates and enhancements scheduled and synchronized with business objectives, system restraints and data value. • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to department and company policies. • Review vendor proofs to ensure grammatical correctness, regulatory compliance and accuracy with regards to offer matrix and guest play data • Write copy to be used for Direct Marketing • Request creative design for offers and work closely with vendors to ensure timelines and creative standards are met • All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. • Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance. • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures. • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed. • Handles guest complaints. • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required. • Perform other duties as assigned.
