About The Position

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. DATABASE ARCHITECT Integrates software and develops external interfaces. Creates a comprehensive integration architecture that outlines how different systems will interact, including data formats, communication protocols, and integration patterns. Helps manage configuration settings within integration platforms, ensuring consistent and accurate data flow between systems. Evaluates and selects appropriate integration tools and technologies based on business needs and technical constraints. Implements integration solutions, including configuration of chosen tools, data mapping, and testing to ensure successful deployment. Monitors integration performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing necessary updates and configuration changes.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline, 15+ years of experience
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or CISSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP
  • Skills: Enterprise IT, Information Technology (IT) Services, IT Architecture
  • US Citizenship Required: Yes
