Key Responsibilities: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your day-to-day activities will include installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any problems that may arise. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems. Advanced proficiency in Database Management is required. Advanced proficiency in SQL Coding is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Database Optimization & Tuning, Database Performance Management, and Database Activity Monitoring is suggested. Engage in continuous learning to enhance your understanding of database technologies and best practices. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in database performance and efficiency. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner. Document database configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure clarity and continuity. Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to project planning and execution. This role requires 5 days away per quarter mandate by the client This role requires being on site with client 3 days per week in the office

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Databases, SQL and PL SQL programing, database design
• Advanced proficiency in Database Management
• Bachelor's Degree

Nice To Haves

• Hands on experience with performance tuning
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture
• Experience in Financial Services domain
• Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Gir, and Datical
