About The Position

Database Administrator Senior Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 220 Virginia Ave Indianapolis, IN 46204. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm The Database Administrator Senior is responsible for responsible for the full range of database development, support activities, and detailed analysis. How You Will Make an Impact: Develop database designs based on business requirements. Review and revise database designs and ensure that all technical and business requirements are met. Build database structures based on detailed design. Perform database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results. Provide support during the system implementation and production. Suggest new features, coding techniques, and reference material. Identify gaps in scripts and procedures. Suggest options for the implementation of features. Provide 24x7 production and non-production DBA on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of required information systems and/or database administration or related disciplines experience.
  • Five (5) years of required information systems and/or database administration or related disciplines experience must include: ETL Tools such as: Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Programming Languages such as: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML Databases such as: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Developer, Toad, DB2 Operating System such as: Unix, Linux
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
  • Three (3) years of required information systems and/or database administration or related disciplines experience.
  • Must have skills listed above.
