About The Position

This position is the Branch’s Database Administrator and Reporting Specialist. The role is responsible for Database management, Data Integration and Report Development including the database management, development, testing, integration, maintenance, and support of the Branch on day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server or other database applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Have experience in database project, large-scale database operation and maintenance management.
  • Familiar with data backup, restoration, import, export, synchronization, format conversion and other operations of Microsoft SQL Server or other database.
  • Extensive experience developing, writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures and troubleshooting their performance.
  • Experience in develop test plans, test scripts, validation procedures, and perform system testing.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools including SSIS and SSRS, integration with SQL.
  • Ability to develop reports development and maintenance policies, and draft the new product or report requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and management of database and related database application.
  • Responsible for database environment configuration, migration and cutover, storage, fault handling, performance optimization, backup, daily monitoring, etc.;
  • Analysis business need and provide technical solutions to meet end-users’ need.
  • Design and develop database and applications with all phases of software development lifecycle.
  • Conducts system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), creates SIT testing cases, and drafts reports. Provide support for the business the user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Use SSIS, SSRS, and SQL to develop ETL packages and reports.
  • Design and develop new features/functionalities of ETL Data Integration using SSIS, SQL, Java, Python, etc.
  • Perform hands-on data-related tasks such as data analysis, data integration, data issue remediation, data reconciliation, data warehousing, and reporting automation.
  • Develop functions, views and stored procedures, complex SQL queries for reports that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IS team and HO in vulnerability and batch installed and remediated on time.
  • Write technical documents and testing reports. Provide support for the internal and external audit and exam.
  • Be responsible for demonstrating risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal control in their daily routine.
