About The Position

LingaTech is building a pipeline of experienced Data Warehousing professionals to support anticipated future needs with both Commonwealth and commercial clients. This posting is not tied to a current requisition. Instead, we are proactively identifying and engaging candidates with strong data engineering, analytics, and ETL backgrounds for upcoming contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles. Potential Future Roles You may be considered for upcoming openings such as: Data Warehouse Developers / Engineers ETL Developers Data Analysts / BI Analysts Data Architects Database Developers (SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL) Data Quality / Data Governance Specialists Reporting Developers (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) Cloud Data Engineers (Azure/AWS/GCP) Potential Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary by role but may include: Designing, building, and maintaining data warehouse environments (on-prem or cloud) Developing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar Gathering requirements and translating business needs into data models and reporting solutions Building dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Managing data quality, governance, metadata, and documentation Optimizing database performance and SQL queries Supporting data migration, integrations, and modernization initiatives Collaborating with cross-functional teams, business units, and technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Professional experience in data warehousing, ETL, or data engineering
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Experience with at least one modern ETL/ELT tool (e.g., SSIS, ADF, Informatica, Talend, Databricks)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support business decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a client-facing or collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • BI/reporting experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Data modeling experience (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault)
  • Familiarity with Python, Spark, or other data engineering tools
  • Public sector or enterprise data experience
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices

Responsibilities
