About The Position

The Data Warehouse Analyst – Advanced will support cloud-based data integration and analytics initiatives by translating business needs into system, data, and integration requirements. This role focuses on designing, developing, and managing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure reliable delivery of accurate, consistent, and governed data across multiple platforms. The analyst will play a key role in modernizing legacy data workflows by converting mainframe-based processes into cloud-native data integration solutions, while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field , or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of IT experience in data warehousing, data integration, and business intelligence
4+ years designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Informatica on-prem solutions
Strong expertise in data warehousing and data mart architecture
Ability to model transactional data for analytical and reporting use cases
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
Advanced proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud Platform
Working knowledge of Informatica Data Quality and Informatica Data Catalog
Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
Proficiency with relational databases including DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle
Familiarity with scripting languages and evolving cloud technologies
Clear and effective verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to understand stakeholder needs and deliver effective solutions

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud-based and on-prem data integration tools
Translate business reporting and analytics requirements into technical data integration solutions
Support batch and real-time data flows across heterogeneous data sources
Perform data modeling to support cloud-based data warehousing and analytics
Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, data quality, and governance
Convert legacy mainframe code and reporting logic (e.g., JCL, COBOL, COOLGEN, FOCUS/WebFOCUS) into modern cloud-based data integration workflows
Analyze existing reports, data flows, and transformation logic to ensure accurate functional parity during modernization
Produce clear technical documentation and support structured testing processes
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams throughout design and implementation
Maintain metadata, data quality standards, and integration documentation
Mentor peers on data warehousing concepts, tools, and best practices
