About The Position

FLS Connect is an industry leader in providing direct fundraising, voter contact, and data management tools for conservative political and corporate clients. We are seeking a Data Technician to join our data team, which is driven by data and measurement. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in data management, has experience or training in MS SQL, is comfortable communicating with business users, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience/education in database query/transformation/management
• Knowledge/experience with SQL is required
• Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment and successfully multi-tasking
• A schedule that allows for fluctuation and seasonality of work
• Professional communication skills and collegial interpersonal demeanor
• BS degree preferably in a quantitative domain (finance, computer science, engineering, mathematics) or social science area of study with a quantitative focus

Responsibilities

• Manage data with SQL Server Management Studio
• Manage ETL of data contacts associated with scripts
• Create SQL tables and utilize stored procedures
• Ad-hoc data manipulation
• Modify HTML and JavaScript using Adobe Dreamweaver
• Ability to perform after-hours work
