About The Position

VOALA Helping Our Most Vulnerable Change Their Life Stories Volunteers of America is a non-profit human services organization committed to serving people in need, strengthening families, and building communities. VOALA provides a variety of social services to Los Angeles area communities such as Head Start programs, Upward Bound college prep programs, veterans services, homeless shelters, low-income housing program as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Learn more at www.voala.org . The CQI Department supports both Corporate functions and remote program locations. This coordinator position provides technical phone support for department customers, and receives and monitors Data Systems service requests, receiving incoming calls, e-mails and hard copy service requests. Provides general office support for the CQI Department as needed. Establishes and maintains cooperative and harmonious working relationships with corporate and program staff. This position supports and educates various software programs such as EUNA, Unigrants Management System, 365 Microft System Tools set up, and ECCOVIA client track system as well as other identified systems as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
  • Valid California driver license and access to dependable transportation with adequate insurance
  • Associate Degree in Business, Data, Technology, or Information Systems or Certificate in Administration.
  • 5 years of technology experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Prior help desk experience preferable
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Responds to Data Systems Service Requests via telephone, e-mails, and service tickets for all software programs including EUNA, Unigrants Management System, 365 Microft System Tools set up, and ECCOVIA client track system as well as other identified systems as needed.
  • Provides Data Systems Help Desk replies to questions / Service Requests accordingly and for complex issues, triages the call to appropriate Business Systems Analysts for resolution
  • Provide administrative services including creating accounts and changing passwords, troubleshooting issues, and triaging issues.
  • After assessing the help desk calls, recommends training opportunities to support staff with learning and functioning in these systems
  • Communicate via emails, phone, and meeting; to assist users and relay project statuses
  • Prepare needed documents for Data Systems projects
  • Maintains Data Systems files and other related documents
  • Filing and assisting other CQI staff when required
  • Data Systems Help Desk operation for various software programs such as EUNA, Unigrants Management System, 365 Microft System Tools set up, and ECCOVIA client track system as well as other identified systems as needed.
  • Maintains Data Systems requests, coordinates with business data and systems analysts, to ensure service needs are met,
  • After assessing the help desk calls, recommends training opportunities to support staff with learning and functioning in these systems
  • Maintains Data Systems accounts and password requests.
  • Makes changes to system workflow when needed.
  • Coordinates with programs to maintain and update staffing and related programs for Data Systems projects.
  • Coordinates staff training and administrative events
