CIC Group, located in Fenton, MO, is seeking a skilled Data Systems Analyst to join our IT team. DAY IN THE LIFE: The Data Systems Analyst will report to the Enterprise DBA & Applications Architect. They will administer and maintain SQL Server environments, design and develop ASP/ASP.NET applications, and support ETL workflows and data integrations. Development and maintenance of reporting solutions using SSRS, Power BI, and similar tools will be a core responsibility. They will also configure and administer SharePoint Online sites and solutions, ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing, and create automation solutions to streamline data and reporting tasks. Support for off-hours maintenance, on-call coverage, and collaboration with other IT team members will be required from time-to-time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven, hands-on experience with SQL Server DBA and/or application development, with exposure to ETL and reporting solutions.
  • Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security management.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, C#, and the .NET framework (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET).
  • Experience with reporting/dashboard tools (SSRS, Power BI) and ETL workflows (e.g., SSIS).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Highly professional, organized, and customer-focused.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
