About The Position

The Data Specialist is responsible to maintain and update data for employees in Workday and other databases and spreadsheets. Conduct routine audits of I-9s, Workers Compensation Codes, and semiannual audits of directories. Coordinate with internal departments to produce employee reports, flowcharts, and lists as requested. Assist management as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and Update Employee Data
  • Verify new employee data.
  • Maintain records for job profiles, employee ID cards, assigned business assets, contact information, certifications, education.
  • Verify legal name changes and update accesses.
  • Process job changes, including temporary assignments, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
  • Complete I-9 re-verifications as needed.
  • Process and maintain employee loans.
  • Audit Data
  • Audits processes to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational accuracy.
  • Conduct annual audits of I-9s and Worker Compensation Codes and semiannual audits of location and phone directories.
  • Initiate semiannual review of departmental flowcharts to ensure data in Workday matches current operational practices.
  • Reporting
  • Provide reports as requested for employees, including flowcharts, temp labor, remote labor, retirees, directories, etc.
  • Assist Management
  • Perform various special projects assigned by the Employee Services management team.
