This position is responsible for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from one dental software product into other Henry Schein Practice Solutions products. Responsible to work toward and assist in the achievement of individual, team, department, and all company goals.

  • Serve as a contact for both internal and external customers during all phases of the data migration
  • Manage multiple/simultaneous ETL projects
  • Recognize and escalate customer data issues
  • Ensure the timely and effective completion of migration expectation are met or exceeded
  • Document, record, and appropriately track completed tasks to provide accurate record of account/project history
  • Resolve complex data related problems
  • Prioritize projects and customer needs based on changing demands
  • Strong ability to acquire new knowledge related to changing work environment
  • Database experience or software development, including but not limited to C#, Java, or HTML5
  • Practice management software and services including Henry Schein solutions experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, CRM, SaaS applications, and internet browsers
  • Understanding of SQL, primarily Microsoft T-SQL
  • Understanding of database architecture and connectivity, including but not limited to Pervasive, Sybase, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Flat Files, CSV, MySQL, and others
  • Understanding of both client/server and cloud based (SaaS) applications and services
  • Basic understanding of regulatory compliance including HIPAA
  • Basic understanding of Agile development
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Very good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex issues

  • Typically 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
