About The Position

As a Data Service Specialist, you will be focused on reviewing and processing customer orders, and you will be responsible for keying in customer account data with a high level of productivity and accuracy on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to consistently meet deadlines and work well within a team environment. This position requires excellent Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to multitask while working in multiple databases. This position may support more than one department within the company. This position is onsite in Fairfield, Maine. Evenings and weekends required.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • CRM/OMS experience a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent documentation and customer records
  • Clears/processes web order for the order batch cycles
  • Handles orders that kick out of the fulfilment process due to customer errors, and pricing discrepancies, etc.
  • Maintain customer records including duplicate accounts, merge requests, and customer maintenance updates in multiple systems
  • Maintains an efficient rate of productivity with a high rate of accuracy
  • Ability to meet schedule deadlines and be flexible to support peak volumes
  • Takes the initiative to obtain and consistently upgrade knowledge by participating in training opportunities
  • Understands and adheres to established department protocols, processes
  • Builds relationships and works closely with co-workers, at all levels of the organization in a positive manner to leverage the knowledge and the experiences of the JSS staff to support the customer experience
  • Identifies and communicates system failures and areas of opportunity to enhance customer experience
  • Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability is an essential function of this position
  • Complete other tasks as assigned
  • Evening hours required during the peak season
