Data Services Intern
About The Position
IMT Insurance is now accepting applications for our Data Services Internship position within our Data Department for the Summer 2026 Internship Program. You will assist in projects that could involve one or more of the following: using basic SQL to do data analysis, perform 'routine' Tableau-related tasks and simple data loads or stored procedure development. Ideal applicants will be passionate, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have an interest in developing their skills through hands-on experience. Requirements
- Must be working towards a college degree. Sophomore standing or above is preferred.
- Coursework related to Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or related areas of study.
- Experience with a programming or scripting language.
- Understanding of SQL, querying tools, databases, and data warehouses (Cloud database technology experience preferred.)
- Strong understanding of Excel.
- Ability to pay close attention to details.
- Ability to analyze and problem solve.
- Ability to listen and communicate internally/externally to the customer, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Analytical skills and research capabilities is a plus.
