About The Position
OneStream is seeking motivated candidates for its 2026 internship program. Interns will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with professionals, and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced environment. Our internship is intended for rising seniors and graduate students enrolled in a degree-seeking program, with graduation expected after the internship program concludes. As a Data Services Intern, you will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) solutions across the organization. You will be working with our Lead Sr. BI Engineer to develop the key skills required to drive results for our Internal Stakeholders. You will gather business requirements and translate them to technical requirements, then follow a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to develop, test, and deploy the solution. This role will requires an interest in data and business analysis as well as a problem-solving aptitude.
Requirements
- In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with modelling languages like DAX & M Query.
- Understanding of data modelling best practices.
- Basic knowledge of APIs.
- Exposure to Python or Ruby.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice To Haves
- Junior and graduate-level students preferred (graduating between December 2026 and May 2027).
- Previous internship experience is nice to have but not necessarily required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with refining requirements and development stories in Jira.
- Gain experience with enterprise platforms such as Workato, SnowFlake, and PowerBI.
- Provide support for development and integration implementations.
- Work with individual contributors and key stakeholders on enterprise-wide projects.
