They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements. Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team! The Data Scientist supports mission operations by providing analytic technical support, translating requirements, developing models, creating visualizations, communicating insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in computer science, data science, or data analytics.
- Experience with Python libraries for data cleaning, EDA, statistical analysis, and visualization.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Agile development experience with tools like Jira.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and the intel cycle.
- Experience with the Department of Homeland Security.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
Responsibilities
- Establish analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes.
- Design and deliver infographics across media platforms.
- Identify and process raw data, trends, and assessments to generate intelligence support packages.
- Provide tailored communications to stakeholders and support analytic activities.
- Brief customers on assessments and prepare briefings for decision makers.
