About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Scientist Coop student to join our team. You will work closely with scientists and senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights that support business decisions. Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Ideal candidate must have 0-3 years of experience in a similar role and have proficiency in Python or R, and SQL
• Understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

• familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn)

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Assist in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Document methodologies and maintain reproducible workflows.
• Stay updated on the latest data science tools and techniques.
