About The Position

Overview The Data Scientist/Statistician I performs quantitative data analysis and data management activities to support organizational decision-making. This role analyzes data flows, identifies data quality issues, and assists in developing corrective plans. The position supports extract, transform, and load (ETL) activities and provides analytical support for routine and ad hoc data requests. Requirements

  • Approximately two (2) years of experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, or related quantitative role.
  • Experience performing ETL or data mapping activities.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and data validation techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and spreadsheet or database applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate quantitative findings clearly.
  • Experience supporting routine data management processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple analytical requests in a structured environment.

  • Relevant industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data entering, exiting, and residing within the organization to support operational and strategic needs.
  • Identify and quantify data quality issues and inconsistencies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing plans to resolve identified data issues.
  • Perform data mapping and support extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
  • Support routine data management and governance activities.
  • Respond to ad hoc user data requests and provide analytical outputs.
  • Conduct data validation and testing activities to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify data requirements and definitions.
  • Support development of reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
