Position Summary As a Data Scientist – Healthcare Journey Analytics, you will work cross-functionally with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, IT, Clinical, Product, Design, Marketing, and more, to analyze, develop, and optimize, condition specific healthcare journeys for health plan members. A strong understanding of health insurance claims data is required. This role will build and utilize algorithms to identify clinical conditions (or risk of clinical conditions), evaluate intervention opportunities and approach, to develop member facing campaigns to help members better understand their condition journey and to make informed decisions. The solution you will help build will help members understand where they are on their journey, what might be next, and what options they should consider.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant healthcare analytics work experience
  • Experience with health insurance claims data analytics
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Python and/or R
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams / workgroups
