About The Position

Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a talented team that can mentor your early career? McAfee is looking for someone who takes joy in finding simple solutions to complex problems, learning about how to support multiple teams in remote and hybrid environments, and shares our passion for making customers’ digital worlds safer. This is a Hybrid Position located in San Jose, CA. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the San Jose office. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work from your home office. About the role: • Utilize your strong interest in statistical modeling, causal inference, and data-driven decision-making, as well as curiosity about how models are used in real products and business contexts • Write clear, well-structured, and reproducible analysis code in Python and/or R (with experience using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, PyMC, scikit-learn, dplyr etc.) • Use your intuition for data design and analysis workflows, including how to structure datasets, choose appropriate metrics, and communicate results clearly through visualizations and written summaries • Work outside of a narrow academic comfort zone, quickly learn new tools or domains, and deliver practical results in a fast-moving, applied environment About You: • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an accredited college or university • Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship timeline: February, 2026 through May, 2026. • Working as an Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Desire to learn and grow your technical and interpersonal skills • Strong work ethic and dedication to contribute to a culture of integrity, accountability, and teamwork

Requirements
