About The Position

We are seeking a 2026 summer intern to support our Learning Management and Support Services (LMSS) contract with our Intelligence Community client. At Noblis, our LMSS contract has numerous teams that support the educational and professional development for our client’s workforce. In this project, the intern will join our Special Projects and Innovations team to identify, develop, and implement data science strategies for a variety of different teams, applications, and types of data. These tools will be leveraged together to achieve strategic goals and objectives and to align innovation efforts with the organization’s mission.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship with a Top Secret clearance
  • GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter with demonstrated customer support and collaboration expertise
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to improvise and adapt open-source software solutions in a network-restricted secure environment
  • Experience with basic coding and data visualization skills such as: Python, R, JavaScript, Tableau
  • Experience with databases and management tools such as: SQL, Access, PowerBI, MongoDB, Elastic Stack
  • Ability and interest in obtaining a TS/SCI clearance including polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Geospatial Data Management
  • Experience with advanced ML/data science techniques using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
  • Familiarity with training and fine-tuning AI models including large language models, agent-based systems, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG)
  • Familiarity with Agile development workflows
  • People skills that lend themselves to emotional intelligence and the human centered design process
  • Consulting experience
  • Briefing/Public Speaking Skills

Responsibilities

  • Learn the interdependence of cross-functional teams and implement data strategy using data science skills.
  • Use data software tools to design, implement, and evaluate organizational improvements.
  • Support data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, performing data analysis & interpretation and visualization of both time series process data and manufacturing/operational data.
  • Report insights and help clients to make decisions and find improvement opportunities.
