As a Quality Assurance Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. Job Description Summary: • This position will focus on PNC's Big Data transformation within the Asset Management Group, with an emphasis on data quality assurance, validation, and testing of data pipelines and analytical assets. • Successful candidates will have proven experience in data quality engineering, Big Data technologies, and automated data validation tools such as Great Expectations, along with working knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and data analytics platforms. Job Description • This position will focus on PNC’s Big Data transformation within Asset Management Group. • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to define data quality checks, metrics and SLAs. • Develop, maintain, and execute data quality tests and validation rules using Great Expectations and similar tools. • Create QA frameworks that support batch data validation. • Trouble shoot data issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering teams. • Document test cases and test results to provide visibility into data health and quality trends. Job Description Participates in the quality assurance process; follows procedures to ensure that all software products and components meet company standards and client requirements. Performs code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews. Reviews software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards. Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management. Plans, executes, and summarizes reliability and validation test cases; interfaces with developers on test results. Assists in audits and reviews. Writes and executes test plans and cases for testing of software. Requirements
