About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Analytics and Reporting Senior Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Identify process efficiencies by analyzing potential reporting solutions and applying technology solutions to achieve straight-through processing. Engage technology partners where needed to implement changes and control implementations. Evaluate current processes, assess them for risks and gaps, research and propose solutions, and help implement process improvements. Use discretion in developing solutions for broad-based reporting issues. Conduct statistically accurate data analysis that yields useful reporting insights to inform business decisions. Assess and improve the effectiveness of deployed solutions by applying techniques such as data warehousing, data mapping, data processing, data cleansing, and data tracking. Coordinate project deliverables and contribute to identifying solutions for business reporting issues. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. Present the results of data analysis to management or other end users. Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions. Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions. Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems. Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes. Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation performing data analytics.
• Five (5) years of experience must include: Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Python, R, and Tableau to generate statistically accurate insights, build dashboards, and create automated reporting solutions that drive business decisions; Design and implement data quality controls by applying data lineage, cleansing, mapping, and monitoring techniques to ensure accuracy, completeness, and transparency of critical data elements; Develop and document process workflows by translating high-level business objectives into concrete tasks, identifying dependencies, and recommending process improvements that achieve straight-through processing; Apply industry standards to assess processes for gaps, identify control issues, and ensure compliance in reporting and governance activities; and Conduct user testing and defect analysis to validate data and reporting solutions, escalate issues, and deliver remediation steps that strengthen control effectiveness and reporting accuracy.
• In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and (3) years of experience.
• Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience.
