Cornerstone is seeking a Data/Project Technician to join our team. Position Type: FT Location: Lafayette, LA Work Environment: Office Physical Demands: Light Travel Requirements: Occasionally site visits required. Essential Functions: Work with Professional Surveyors, technicians, & drafters. Prepare client deliverables Calculating, analyzing, coordinating, researching information, prepare drawings, and assist with necessary tasks to complete the project. Ability to team up with our surveyors to prepare and discuss drawings and project specifications and details for a variety of survey and mapping projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Associate degree in Drafting and Design or Bachelor degree in Geomatics.
- Proven experience in survey and mapping.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D
- Detailed oriented.
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with oil & gas, transportation, or utility corridor projects.
- Familiarity with coastal and wetland surveying regulations in Louisiana.
- Knowledge of subdivision platting, title surveys, and easement documentation
Responsibilities
- Assist other project teams, departments with technical, field, or other duties as needed or requested.
- Providing technical support for project teams.
