Director - Data Product Owner / Wealth Management (Addepar/Orion) Location- Austin ,Texas Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in the Wealth Management domain, specifically in Portfolio Accounting and Performance Reporting platforms such as Addepar or Orion . The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and platform optimization initiatives to enhance portfolio reporting, client experience, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Act as Product Owner for Wealth Management platforms, primarily Addepar or Orion. Define and manage the product roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Gather and translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Lead backlog prioritization and sprint planning in collaboration with Engineering and QA teams. Drive implementation and enhancement of: Portfolio Accounting Performance Measurement & Attribution Client Reporting & Statements Fee Billing & Reconciliation Partner with Portfolio Managers, Operations, Compliance, and Client Reporting teams. Ensure data accuracy across custodians, market data providers, and internal systems. Support integrations with CRM, trading platforms, custodians, and data warehouses. Conduct UAT sessions and ensure successful releases. Monitor KPIs related to reporting accuracy, performance calculations, and client experience. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and fintech innovations in Wealth Management. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Wealth/Asset Management domain. 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst. Hands-on experience with: Addepar OR Orion Advisor Technology Strong understanding of: Portfolio Accounting principles Performance reporting & benchmarking GIPS standards Multi-asset portfolios (Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to translate complex financial concepts into technical requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience with custodial data feeds (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, etc.). Knowledge of wealth advisory workflows (RIA environment preferred). Familiarity with data platforms, APIs, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau). CSPO or SAFe PO certification. Experience in digital transformation initiatives within Wealth Management.
