About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering and deep expertise in banking and financial services data. This role focuses on building scalable, compliant, and business-aligned data products while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Data Product Manager or similar role
- Background in Data Engineering
- Expertise in Snowflake, Python, PySpark, SQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and pipelines
- Strong knowledge of banking/financial data and compliance
- Experience with CI/CD, release management, and version control
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Azure, Databricks
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka or streaming technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Prior experience in banking or financial services
Responsibilities
- Product Ownership & Strategy Define and prioritize data product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Data Engineers to build scalable data pipelines
- Partner with Data Analysts and Data Scientists for data usability
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Data Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Implement data quality, integrity, and governance policies
- Data Lifecycle & Release Management Manage end-to-end lifecycle of data products
- Oversee releases, deployments, and version control
- Drive automation and continuous improvement
- Technical Oversight Guide teams on data architecture, pipelines, and best practices
- Work with Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, ETL/ELT workflows
- Stay updated with industry trends and tools
- Performance Monitoring Monitor performance and optimize data products
- Troubleshoot issues and improve system efficiency
- Documentation & Training Maintain documentation for data systems and processes
- Conduct training sessions for stakeholders
