About The Position
Perform regular reviews of proposed ETL solution designs, vetting them against technology standards, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure a reliable, secure solution is implemented Perform data model reviews & set database objects naming & data model standards Analyze current data management environment to identify critical gaps/deficiencies, and design and propose solutions for improvement touching all aspects of data lifecycle Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits. Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to data modelers and ETL developers to bring improvement and optimizations in the implementation of data warehouses/ data lake, marts and universes Assist in Data Architecture landscape analysis, findings and recommendations leveraging industry best practices and proven methodologies. Part of Architecture Review Team (ART) in setting, governing & enforcing them both -- Data model & ETL design Excellent oral and written communication, Analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to details Qualification
Requirements
- 7+ years’ of experience in Informatica / ETL design & architecture
- 7+ years of experience with data modeling & architecture
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Strong understanding of Data Integration Patterns and Tooling including ELT/ETL, Replication and Streaming to support batch and real-time data needs.
- Proven experience in architecting enterprise-wide data platforms and data management solutions for large and complex environments
- Proficiency in SQL, query optimization and relational databases
- Proven ability of translating business needs into architecture and design requirements
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and leading practices
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to details
