Within DCF, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) Program office is recognized as the single state authority for substance abuse and mental health services. The Office of SAMH is statutorily responsible for the planning, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive statewide system of care for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of children and adults with serious mental illnesses or substance use disorders. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include: This is a highly professional and administrative position responsible for managing the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Quality Assurance Data Analysis team. This position reports to the SAMH Chief of Children Mental Health Services and will serve as an integral part of the overall quality assurance for SAMH functions necessary to support current and future activities such as the Priority of Effort, Enterprise-wide data sharing, and the replacement of the current SAMHIS data system. This position is accountable for mobilizing the data analysis team to provide independent and complex analysis and technical assistance to improve the quality of budget and planning activities. Provides supervision to ensure that team members effectively work with the various programs, Regions, facilities, and external partners such as Managing Entities. Duties include:
