About The Position

This is an on-site position. The Data Manager I provides clinical data services for a data network operation, fulfilling requests in a timely manner; acts as a certified honest broker; abstracts data from the medical record or other institutional sources and accurately enters into a data collection system; provides documentation related to the use of the data collection systems used including any new procedures for collection of data; meets with investigators to determine their data requirements; aids upper-level data management staff as necessary. Manages and coordinates the care of patients participating in a clinical research study with guidance from preceptor, educator and/or administrator; educates patients, families and staff regarding study compliance; collects a complete and accurate study data set and facilitates accrual to clinical research studies. The salary range for this position is $56,025 - $71,201annually which includes a geographic differential and comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment; or
  • Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment.
  • NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
