About The Position

Global Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of youth through education and leadership development. We work to ensure that young people have the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to succeed in school and beyond. Global Kids, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Intern to support our data management efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data cleaning, data transfer, and digital database management within a non-profit educational setting.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Strong interest in working for a non-profit organization in the education field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting for clearance.
Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning and Transfer: Support in cleaning data from various sites, including government systems, and transferring it into templates and digital systems.
- Data Tracking: Assist in tracking outstanding data requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data collection and transfer processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.
