Data Management & Governance Analyst The Analyst, Data Management & Governance supports the delivery of high-quality, decision-ready data for financial crime risk analytics, reporting, and decisioning across GFCC and GRC. This role assists in managing the data lifecycle—from data discovery and requirements gathering to validation and ongoing support—while following established governance practices such as data quality, lineage, and metadata. The goal is to help ensure data is accurate, reliable, and fit for business and regulatory needs. The Analyst works closely with business, analytics, and technology teams to support data initiatives and translate requirements into usable data solutions.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in data, analytics, or a related field (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of data management and data governance concepts
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and BigQuery
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Support data discovery, data requirements, and data validation activities
  • Assist in maintaining data quality, lineage, and metadata documentation
  • Help monitor data quality issues and support remediation efforts
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data assets for analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams on data-related tasks
  • Support implementation of data governance standards and best practices
