The Target Pay Range for this position is $88, 500 - $110,645 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience implementing data governance strategies, policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, metadata management, data stewardship, and master data management.
  • Experience conducting data quality assessments, implementing remediation plans, and establishing data quality rules.
  • Experience working with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, including data classification, access control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, or R for data querying, profiling, and analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable data governance strategies.
  • Agile experience, using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps to manage governance-related initiatives.
  • Expertise in data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Experience with data cataloging, business glossary development, and master data management (MDM).
  • Ability to develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance automation and metadata management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with teams to iteratively develop and deliver governance solutions.
  • Proven ability to educate and train business users and technical teams on data governance best practices.
  • Experience leading or contributing to data governance working groups and councils.
  • Ability to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure governance effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive leadership, product stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • A collaborative mindset, working with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and governance maturity.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues.
  • The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.
  • The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment.
  • The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
  • The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting.
  • Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the Internet.
  • The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.
  • The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, frameworks, and workflows to enhance data trust and usability.
  • Oversee metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage tracking for enterprise-wide data assets.
  • Manage and prioritize data governance use cases, collaborating with data engineering, modeling, analytics, and governance teams.
  • Implement and oversee data protection, traceability, and privacy compliance processes.
  • Define and enforce data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards across domains.
  • Coordinate data governance priorities with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and resolving conflicts.
  • Support data governance councils, facilitate working groups, and drive data stewardship initiatives.
  • Lead data quality initiatives, including profiling, monitoring, and remediation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and industry-specific standards.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of master data management (MDM) solutions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance data literacy and governance awareness across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on key data quality and governance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
