About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to support our enterprise data governance initiatives within a modernizing manufacturing environment. This role will help ensure that data across the organization is accurate, consistent, well-documented, and trustworthy. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to develop and maintain high-quality data assets and governance processes. This position is ideal for someone early in their data governance career who is eager to grow, influence data practices, and contribute to building a strong data-driven foundation for the organization. This position requires 2+ days each week onsite in our Easton, PA location. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • 5 solid years of experience directly aligned with the responsibilities of the position.
  • Understanding of core data governance concepts such as data quality dimensions, metadata, lineage, data stewardship, and data policies.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate between business and technical teams.
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouse or data platform environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing platforms.
  • Experience with or familiarity with metadata/catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon, Atlan)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • CDMP certification (Associate or Practitioner) is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data owners, custodians, and business partners to resolve data quality and governance issues
  • Support the development and implementation of the enterprise data governance framework
  • Assess and monitor data quality across key datasets; help identify, document, and track data issues and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain metadata including business definitions, data dictionaries, and data ownership information.
  • Support administration of the enterprise data catalog
  • Document data lineage across systems and processes to improve transparency and trust in data flows.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data policies, standards, and governance best practices.
  • Support data stewardship programs, helping business owners understand responsibilities and governance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners and technical teams to resolve data issues and improve data quality pipelines.
  • Produce governance reports and KPIs, communicating progress and impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
