About The Position

The Data Experience Designer creates the foundation for a new era of intelligence at Baker Hill—one where every department operates with clarity, confidence, and real time visibility into the metrics that matter. This role transforms fragmented, unused, and unmapped data into meaningful, monetizable, and actionable product and organizational insights. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Data Science, Sales, Implementation, and Client Success, the Data Experience Designer ensures every experience we deliver is intuitive, measurable, and directly tied to business outcomes. Starting with Product, this role builds the first unified lens into usage, friction, adoption, and success. That initial dashboard becomes the template for department specific dashboards across the organization, eventually rolling up into a real time CXO health view that updates instantly, eliminating manual reporting and guesswork forever.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design or related analytical or systems focused field required
  • 0-2 years' experience in data driven UX analytics
  • Strong conceptual and systems thinking
  • Ability to connect disparate data points into meaningful insights
  • Exceptional visual communication and clarity in explanation
  • Comfort working with dashboards, metrics, and analytical tools
  • Natural curiosity and bias toward clarity, structure, and problem-solving
  • Experience designing dashboards or data rich interfaces (professional or academic)
  • Leading SAFe certification for understanding of SAFe principles, building an agile mindset, and leading Agile transformation. Must be able to obtain within 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Figma, PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric a plus

Responsibilities

  • Converts product data into actionable UX improvements tied to business outcomes.
  • Prioritizes high-ROI features using behavior and performance insights
  • Surfaces untapped data to reveal new opportunities and monetizable workflows
  • Drives new features and upsell strategies through Data Science partnerships
  • Strengthens Sales and Client Success with data-backed feature value
  • Quantifies usability, efficiency, adoption, and workflow impact.
  • Ensures every design choice supports a clear business value narrative
  • Designs data experience for both BKR internal AND Client facing experiences in UN/FY
  • Use AI responsibly and in alignment with policy, including ongoing learning, and incorporate AI into routine tasks such as drafting communications, summarizing meetings, and organizing information.
