About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Contractual Tax Return Analyst to support the processing of Individual and Fiduciary tax returns within the ITS system. This role requires strong research skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to review suspended returns for accuracy and compliance. Pay: $18.00

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency with computer-based systems; comfort with extensive screen time.
Strong communication skills, both written and electronic.
Ability to interpret tax-related information (training provided).

Responsibilities

Process Individual and Fiduciary tax returns in ITS.
Independently research and analyze returns that have suspended for review.
Review customer returns, schedules, cases, and related documentation to make accurate determinations.
Post determinations and adjustments to customer accounts while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Notify customers of adjustments via written correspondence or electronic communication.
Conduct extensive research related to deductions, credits, and payments.
Generate billings and/or refunds based on findings and analysis.
Assist customers through email and INTIME messages.
Provide technical and procedural guidance to taxpayers, attorneys, CPAs, and personal representatives.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and research tasks.
